AB Stephens Music School

Exciting news! We are expanding into a second Early Childhood Music room at our AB Stephens Music location. Hampton Cove Students will be moving to the AB Stephens Music location.  The tentative start date will be June 1, 2012. Because of that, we are able to offer additional class times for all class types.

Note: Some class start times have been adjusted slightly to allow for traffic flow in the parking lot.

 

  • Perfect Praise Baby Class- Babies from 3 months to strong walker Tuition: $40 month.

  •   Tots 'n Time- 16 months (strong walker) to 36 months. Tuition: $40 month.
    • Tuesday 10:30 a.m. 
    • Tuesday 4:40 p.m.
    • Tuesday 6:15 p.m.  (Class time will adjust back 15 minutes starting June 5th)
    • Wednesday 4:40 p.m.  (Moved from Hampton Cove location ~ to start June 6th)

  • Music 'n Motion- three and four year olds: Tuition: $59 month.
    • Monday 4:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday 5:20 p.m.  (Class time will adjust back 5 minutes beginning June 5th)
    • Wednesday 3:30 p.m. (Moved from Hampton Cove ~ start date, June 6th )
    • Wednesday 5:15 p.m. (Moved from Hampton Cove ~ start date, June 6, 2012.)
    • Thursday 1:00 p.m. 
    • Thursday 5:45 p.m.
    • New!  Booking Thursday 6:30 p.m. (Start date will be set when minimum class size is met. )
    • New!  Booking Friday 10:45 a.m. (Start date will be set when minimum class size is met.)

  •  Music4Me Our program for children with special learning needs: ages 3 – 12 years  Tuition: $64 month.
    • This class is offered only at AB Stephens Music on Tuesdays at 3:15 p.m.
    • Once we have evaluated your child in this class, frequently we move the student into our typical classes. Our goal is to best meet his/her needs.

  • Pre-Kids 'n Keys- 4 1/2 years and up: Tuition: $64 month.
    • New! Accepting applications for Pre- Kids 'n Keys on Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. Start date June 6, 2012.  Must meet minimum class requirements. 
    • New! Accepting applications for Pre- Kids 'n Keys on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m.  Start date June 6, 2012.  Must meet minimum class requirements. 
    • All 4 1/2 – five year olds must complete the Pre Kids 'n Keys session with proficiency in order to enroll for Kids 'n Keys Level One. 
    • Booking!  Fall 2012:  We are accepting applications for a Pre Kids 'n Keys class for Friday 4:45.

  • Kids 'n Keys- 5-8 years Tuition: $75 a month in a 4 month session.
    • We are accepting applications for Thursdays 4:30 p.m. to start when minimum class size is met, or June 2012.  
    • New! Tuesday 4:00 will meet as a Pre KnK class this summer and will change into a Kids 'n Keys Level 1 September 2012.
    • New! Tuesday 6:00 will meet as a Pre KnK class this summer and will change into a Kids 'n Keys Level 1 September 2012. 
    • It is recommended that five year olds must meet proficiency requirements to start Kids 'n Keys Level 1 or have attended Pre Kids 'n Keys prior to enrollment in the KnK class.

Other Kids 'n Keys Class Sessions:  Following is a list of the Kids 'n Keys class Levels that will be meeting at AB Stephens after June 1st. 

  • Monday 3:30- Level 6-7- Will graduate end of August 2012.
  • Monday 6:10 p.m.  Level 3.
  • Tuesday 5:00 p.m. Level 2
  • Tuesday 6:00 p.m.  Pre KnK will convert to KnK Level 1, September 2012. 
  • Wednesday 3:30 p.m. – Level 5
  • Wednesday 4:30 p.m. – Level 4
  • Wednesday 5:30 p.m.- Level 2
  • Thursday 3:30 p.m. - Level 3
  • Thursday 4:30 p.m.- Booking Level 1
  • Thursday 6:30 p.m. - Level 4
  • Friday 3:45 p.m.- Level 4
  • Friday 4:45 p.m. – Level 6/7  Will Graduate end of August 2012. 

 How to enroll for ECM classes:

1. Call the office to check on availability: Phone Mrs. Erika Cox, our Student Accounting Secretary. (256- 682-2131).

2. Process on Phone: You may complete the application process on the phone. A Visa, MasterCard or Discover card will be required for the $30 application fee.

3. Click on Register My Child.  Follow the directions to complete an application on this website, email it Mrs.Erika, or take by AB Stephens Music.  Applications are also available at AB Stephens Music (2828 Drake Ave) on the receptionist's desk, right inside the side door. Completely fill out and leave with the AB Stephens receptionist along with the $30 application fee in the form of a check made payable to ECM.

OR

4. Mail it to the office: Print an Early Childhood Music application off of our website and mail it with your application fee to Early Childhood Music, P.O. Box 18008, Huntsville, AL 35804.   Remember, we cannot hold your spot until we receive the application.
