Our weather closing policy for our local Huntsville AL school:
1. We follow your local city school's schedule for weather cancellations. If Huntsville City opens 2 hours late, we will open two hours late. If Huntsville City is closed for the full day, we will be closed for the full day. Same goes for Muscle Shoals City schools…
BUT…
2. We do not close on forecasts. If your local schools makes the call to cancel school the night before based on a predicted forecast, we will wait until the next day to cancel or hold classes. Any variances to this will be broadcast throughout your local area via TV and radio.
